Kalpadhaksha Montessori School was founded in 2019 at Kolapakkam, with the vision to provide world-class Montessori education blended with experiential learning for children aged 1.5 to 12 years.
What began as a single center has now grown into a trusted name in Montessori education. In 2025, Kalpadhaksha proudly expanded into two more branches:
At every branch, our philosophy remains the same: βThe Child is the Curriculum.β We follow the child, giving them the freedom to explore, discover, and learn at their own pace, while ensuring they meet their developmental milestones at the right time.
To nurture independent, confident, and compassionate learners through Montessori philosophy, providing them with opportunities for holistic growth, creativity, and lifelong curiosity.
Montessori education empowers children with freedom of choice in their work, space, partners, and time β building responsibility, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Unlike conventional classrooms, Montessori provides hands-on, thoughtfully designed tools that inspire children to repeat activities, master concepts, and enjoy the process of learning.
Mrs. Kalpana D. Kumar is a Speech and Language Pathologist (MERF, 2010) with extensive experience at Vidya Sagar, Srishti, and MERF. Her passion for helping children with special needs sparked a vision: to create a school where every child β irrespective of their abilities β can learn, communicate, and thrive.
Will children with alternative abilities get the opportunity to interact with typically growing peers?
Can teachers truly understand and support diverse learners?
This led her to pioneer inclusive education by collaborating with schools and professionals.
She firmly believes in a holistic, multidisciplinary approach where professionals work together to understand and support every childβs unique learning journey.
At Kalpadhaksha, we envision a world where children are:
Through Montessori philosophy, inclusivity, and experiential education, we aim to prepare children not just for school, but for life.
βWe donβt just teach subjects β we help children discover who they are.β
